Dr. Mahmoud Dhimish and his PhD student, Mr. Sharmarke Hassan, attended the Photovoltaics Science, Applications, and Technology Conference (PVSAT-2024), one of the largest PV conferences organized by the Institute of Physics (IoP). The event took place at Strathclyde University in Glasgow, UK.

Dr. Dhimish presented a talk titled 'Do Minor Cracks in Solar Cells, Barely Visible in Electroluminescence, Really Matter?' and Mr. Hassan presented a poster titled 'Exploring the Dynamics of Risk and Quality in Solar Photovoltaic Systems.

Acknowledgment: This work and attendance at the conference were supported by the EPSRC IAA project titled "EPSRC IAA: Next-Generation Vertically Mounted Bifacial Solar Panels: Conceptualisation, Field Testing, and Energy Performance Monitoring" and the Innovate UK-funded project "Aerial Electroluminescence Inspections (AELI).
